Programs - Japanese Language

Our Year 2/3 students paritipate in a Japanese lesson each week with Mr Wade. Students have recently been learning about colours and have learned basic greetings, counting and have been practising writing their names in katakana. The program also includes cultural learning as well as songs and origami in a fun learning environment. A highlight of the children has been trying some Japanese foods. The Japanese program will be continued for these students into next year as per requirement of the Australian Curriculum.
