Yesterday, the Year 12 students at Leinster Community School covered the classroom in glad wrap and tipped the tables for their last day of school.
The Year 12 students turned the classroom upside down for the last day just for the fun of it. They played a prank on the rest of the students with the help of the school gardener, Jodi. They found it funny to cover the furniture with gladwrap and pack up all the tables and chairs, arriving early to do so to prank their classmates.
Whilst some of the student’s didn’t find it as funny, others found it hilarious – especially the teachers. Science and Mathematics teacher Ms Brewster found it very amusing, especially when the tables were turned, and the teachers changed the boys’ passwords on their computers and they had to crack the code, which was Missbrewsteristhebest!
While the day carried on as normal for the rest of the school, the Year 12’s cooked cupcakes for their classmates, spent time in the younger years classrooms and were sent off at the end of the school day with music and a guard of honour by the students and staff high fiving all the way.
They ‘soaked’ up the carnival like atmosphere with photos and a literal soaking of glitter infused water courtesy of the high schoolers.
We wish the graduating students all the very best for their futures and the life of adulthood.
