Whole School PBS Reward – Amazing Race!

June 27, 2024-School News

Last Friday, 21st June, we had our whole school reward for PBS. As a school, we reached 10,000 Dojo Points for displaying the school values of Success, Teamwork, Acceptance, and Resilience, so we celebrated that achievement with an Amazing Race organised by the Early Childhood Teachers.

The whole school joined together and were put into groups with students from each year level. The students had to solve riddles to find a location within the school; when they got to that location, they worked as a team to complete the challenge at each place. Each station awarded a prize for many things, such as speed, teamwork, success, resilience, and effort.

“Normally scavenger hunts are boring but this is so much fun,” said April McIntosh and Ethan Bula.

After the conclusion of the race, students enjoyed a sausage sizzle kindly donated by ISS. Thank you so much to ISS for the donation and to all parents who offered their time to help on the day. Also, a big thank you to Miss Shaddick, Mrs. French, and Miss Jenny for helping organise the reward.

It is important that parents keep their contact and emergency contact details (including email) current so that a designated point of contact is available to the school at any given time.
